Everything you could want in a breakfast diner! Counter service was top notch, coffee was perfect and topped off frequently, menu was simple but had all the necessary favorites. I had the gyro omelet and it was delicious. Fresh blueberries on my oatmeal too. So glad I stopped!

I love it in this place. Small and old timey. All the best dishes for breakfast and lunch. I sat on the stool with a friend and had the Potatoe pancakes and bacon. It was divine and I hope to be back soon.

Old-style diner with a long counter and a handful of tables. Staff is friendly and attentive. Very good breakfasts with ample portions. I had the three-egg special with bacon and it was plenty for me. Good place to enjoy a cup of basic coffee.

We go to This diner all the time. I love their western omlets and the pancakes. Pancakes only when I’m not dieting. Also, I love the potatoes well done! My favorite diner in the area.

This is my son's and my favorite place to get breakfast. Food, and service are great! We would not go anywhere else. Nostalgic dinner with a lot of charm. We hope it never changes, and you'll have these two customers for life! Now under new management. Still amazing!😁

Fair price with good food, but nees to wait for table

My wife, my son and I had a very nice time here. Food was delicious, I had the dirty south omelette and it was amazing! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I love the old school diner look and the overall environment. I highly recommend it! Great place to eat for a great price!

I love this place so much, I go there every week twice a week. They know my order, my name, and I even have a song I play there every time I come. The cook knows me as well, to the point of when he sees me, he starts cooking my order. They barely even had my drinks ready when my food was already ready. I love this place, favorite breakfast place that I’ve ever been to. Prices are amazing too. I HIGHLY suggest you go here.

*Updated this review because I've since gone to Kleifeld's many times. The food is always served quick, tasty, and always high quality. One of my favorite places to go in the morning because I can guarantee the food will be awesome!

Great experience at Kleifeld's. So glad we ordered the cinnamon roll pancakes--they were amazing! Probably the best pancakes I've ever had. The staff is always so nice here and they keep everything running efficiently even on a busy Saturday morning. My favorite place to go for breakfast in the area!

Great breakfast for reasonable price!

What a classic diner. Take your kids there and see what a real diner looks and feels. Staff is nice. Food prepared quickly and tastes good at a fair price. Ok to go alone or in a group. Breakfast and lunch all day.

Best diner food and the best locals. The Tribe goes every weekend. We sit at the counter and play oldies from the juke box. We all HIGHLY recommend the cinnamon roll pancake!! Scrumptious! Stellar staff. Great conversations. Small place. Reminds me of diners from home.

This was the first place I had breakfast at when I moved here, and the staff really made me feel at home. I've tried a couple other places, but this one is my favorite. I always sit at the counter and order their delicious coffee. The food is really good and they have great weekend specials. The regulars are always very nice. I haven't tried their pie yet, but it looks delicious.

I stop in with some of my friends every now and again, and it’s always a good time. Great food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices are what you can expect at this charming local diner. Would recommend to anyone in the Willoughby/Mentor area.

This is your prototypical greasy-spoon restaurant with all of your breakfast favorites, not to mention some lunch fare like burgers. They're only open until 2 o'clock Monday-Saturday and 1 P.M. on Sunday. It was moderately busy around 11 A.M. Monday. The Mediterranean omelet was good. If it were my place, I would replace the chipped coffee mugs. And not sure if the mini jukeboxes work, but they take you back to a bygone era. Service was excellent!

An amazing "hole in the wall" restaurant. It's super homey and amazing for a day when you want to try something new. The food is average breakfast food, but the atmosphere makes up for it. Would recommend!

I consider myself something of a layman's aficionado of the classic diner. I seek them out wherever I move and I even met my wife in one. We moved from out of state 4 years ago and Kleifeld's is one of the best I've found; it's in a tie with a place in Solon and might be the best. From the food, to the staff and AMAZINGLY well preserved furnishings and decor, it's just perfect; but has adapted well to the modern era (social media, marketing, payment methods). I gladly drive 30+min to go here. Get the cinnamon pancake. It's great.

Heard a lot about this place. Grabbed burgers and fries for our party of 3 just before closing time. Didn't feel rushed and the burgers were awesome. Highly recommend it.

Me and my sister drove from Erie just to try this diner and do some shopping. Had a great friendly experience. Food was quick and plentiful. Huge pancakes. I'm a diner hopper and this place is definitely on the top of the list for prices,service,food choices and location. Not to mention the locals love it to. Keep up the good work.😊
